At Hard Rock Hotel Bali, we believe in a sustainable future where music, passion, and environmental responsibility coexist. We understand the pressing challenges of climate change and the critical importance of protecting our planet for generations to come.

One of our key initiatives is to minimize our reliance on single-use plastics. In line with our founding motto 'Save The Planet', we have built a state-of-the-art water filtration plant, eliminating the need for plastic bottles and reducing plastic waste by nearly 400,000 plastic bottles each year.

We have made investments in energy-efficient lighting and appliances across our hotel to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, our water management practices guarantee the careful utilization of this invaluable resource. We have implemented waste reduction programs, including surplus food management initiatives, to minimize our environmental footprint.

In an effort to minimize our paper usage, we have moved to digital-based collaterals. This approach not only conserves trees but also enhances the efficiency of our operations. We have modified our linen laundry practices to save energy and water, aiding in the pursuit of a more sustainable future.

Solid Waste Management
We closely monitor all forms of solid waste, including food waste, and have systems in place to reduce waste at the source. When reduction is not possible, we focus on reusing or recycling materials responsibly.

Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Procedures are implemented to avoid or minimize these emissions. As part of this commitment, we have also added an all-electric vehicle and a charging station for our guests to use.

Environmentally Preferable Purchasing
Our purchasing policies prioritize products and services that are environmentally sustainable. This includes capital goods, building materials, food, beverages, and consumables. We strive to work with suppliers who share our values and sustainability goals.

Decent Work & Fair Labor Practices
We uphold labor rights, ensure a safe and secure working environment, and guarantee that our employees receive at least a living wage. We provide regular training, growth opportunities, and skill-building programs to support long-term career development.

Local Purchasing
Whenever possible, we prioritize local suppliers for goods and services, provided they meet our quality standards. This supports the local economy, reduces transportation impacts, and strengthens our connection with the community.

Guest Involvement Opportunities

We continuously explore new ways to improve and expand our sustainability initiatives. Guests are encouraged to join us by participating in optional linen reuse programs, using our refillable water stations, and supporting eco-friendly practices during their stay.
