HARD ROCK HOTEL DESARU COAST NAMED OFFICIAL HOTEL FOR WAGC WORLD FINAL 2026

Set to welcome more than 650 golfers and delegates from over 50 countries during championship week in Johor

Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast has been named the Official Hotel for the World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) World Final 2026, taking place in Johor from 23 to 31 October 2026. The hotel will welcome players and delegates throughout championship week as the international amateur golf tournament returns to the state.

THE WORLD FINAL ACROSS JOHOR

The nine-day, eight-night World Final will feature six days of golf, alongside a BBQ and networking dinner, flag-raising ceremony, gala dinner and awards presentation.

Tournament play will take place across five courses at The Els Club Desaru Coast, Forest City Golf Resort and Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort, showcasing golf destinations across Johor.

Taking place during Visit Johor 2026, the World Final will add to the state’s year-long tourism calendar while showcasing Johor’s appeal as an international golf and sporting destination.
