Important Information for Your Stay

At PAM Hotels, we are committed to protecting children and adolescents from all forms of exploitation, in accordance with the ECPAT Code of Conduct / The Code. As part of this commitment, all adult guests and minors staying at the hotel will be required to present valid identification at check-in, without exception.

In addition, when a minor is accompanied by an adult who is not the minor’s parent or legal guardian, the accompanying adult must present, in addition to the required identification documents, a completed and signed Travel and Accommodation Authorization Form (available for download at the bottom of this page), together with the supporting documentation specified in the form.

Accepted Identification Documents

Foreign Adults and Minors

  • Valid passport; or
  • Valid immigration document issued by the Mexican authorities (temporary or permanent resident card).

Mexican Adults

  • Voter Identification Card (INE); or
  • Valid passport; or
  • Valid driver's license with photograph.

Mexican Minors

  • Valid passport; or
  • School identification card issued by a public or private educational institution, including photograph and the institution’s signature or official stamp; or
  • Birth certificate accompanied by the Unique Population Registry Code (CURP).

Additional Documentation When the Accompanying Adult Is Not the Parent or Legal Guardian

A completed and duly signed Travel and Accommodation Authorization Form, together with the supporting documentation specified therein.

Documents issued outside Mexico must be legalized or apostilled, as applicable, and accompanied by a Spanish translation if drafted in a language other than Spanish.

If the accompanying adult is the minor’s parent or legal guardian but does not share the same surname(s) as the minor, the guest must present the minor’s birth certificate establishing the relationship, or the court order or notarized document evidencing legal guardianship, as applicable.

The hotel may deny check-in if the identity of the guests or the required authorization regarding any minor cannot be properly verified, in accordance with its child protection protocol.
