Hard Rock Pattaya has again teamed up with Yamaha, Laney, Line6, Beatspot and Chordtabs for the 6th Annual Hard Rock Pattaya Guitar Battle, which every year draws nearly two hundred guitarists entering to the competition at Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya. Kicking off in March with online applications, the talented guitarists from all across Thailand and Southeast Asia are encouraged to participate in the competition. Hard Rock Pattaya will accept online submissions for its guitar battle starting from today through Sunday, April 28, 2019.
Following online submissions, all applicants will upload their performance on their own Youtube channels. On Wednesday, May 1, 2019, the 20 finalists will be judged by a panel of Thailand’s top guitarists, including Khun Pop Woravit Charoenponnapachai. The judges will decide each guitarists based on various aspects of the performance - these include musical skill, improvisation, sound, acting, crowd reaction and interaction on stage. The 20 finalists will have chance to perform live in Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya in front of fans and judges on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 5 pm until 9.30 pm.

The winner of this year’s competition will receive a THB 20,000 net cash prize, Laney Guitar Amplifier GH50R-212, accommodation voucher of one night stay in Deluxe room inclusive of breakfast for two persons at Hard Rock Pattaya, a trophy and the title of Hard Rock Pattaya Guitar Battle 2019 winner.
