RENOVATION NOTICE

We would like to advise that, to enhance our guest experience, the hotel will be undertaking Phase 1 of our scheduled renovation works for selected rooms and the Rock Royalty Lounge from 1 March 2026 until November 2026. During this period, the hotel will continue to operate as usual with the remaining rooms available for booking. Alternative arrangements will be provided in lieu of the Rock Royalty Lounge benefits. Room rates quoted above are non-commissionable, in Ringgit Malaysia, including 10% Service Charge & prevailing taxes. The Hotel reserves the right to adjust the rates without any prior notice in the event of any new tax implementation/alteration by the government and/or service charge amendments.
Room rates quoted above are subject to a Local Council Fee of RM3.00 nett per room per night and Tourism Tax RM10.00 nett per room per night. Guest is required to settle the fee/s upon check-in. A Malaysian national and/or a permanent resident who holds a MyPR card are exempted from the payment of the Tourism Tax.
Room rates quoted are inclusive of Buffet Breakfasts for 2 persons.
Room accommodation surcharge applies for below stay dates and should be settled by guest upon departure:

Peak surcharge of RM300.00 nett per room night applies for stays from 12 December 2025 - 3 January 2026, 14 - 21 February, 20 - 28 March and 19 December 2026 - 2 January 2027.
Varying surcharge applies depending on prevailing Best Flexible Rates for stays on Saturdays, Malaysian School Holidays, selected Public Holidays and eve of Public Holidays.

Surcharge applies on delivery fee for bulk purchase.
Accommodation voucher is not valid with any form of discount.
Accommodation and Cash voucher is redeemable at the Hard Rock Hotel Penang only.
No Tax Invoice will be issued for Cash or Room Voucher purchase.
Cash voucher is not applicable to banqueting or meeting functions.
Cash voucher is not applicable for transactions at Rock Shop George Town.
Voucher is valid for six months from date of issuance.
Advance reservation is required for bookings on rooms, Food & Beverage outlets, Rock Spa, etc and is subject to availability upon request.
Voucher cannot be redeemed for cash.
Voucher can only be used once and must be surrendered at time of purchase or check-in.
If the value of redemption exceeds the voucher sum, then the difference must be paid by the bearer.
If the value of redemption falls short of voucher sum, no refund will be given to the bearer.
Lost voucher will not be replaced and any request for an extension of validity period will not be entertained.
Voucher will be ready within 7 working days upon receiving of full payment.
