Celebrate the first full month of spring with these great April finds. From flower festivals to outdoor markets, this month is the perfect time to explore the city that never sleeps. Whether you're a local or a visitor, here are some exciting activities to add to your itinerary.

Cherry Blossoms in NYC

You don’t have to travel to Washington DC to witness the vibrant pink petals of the cherry blossoms as there are plenty of options in New York City.  The closest place to catch the blossoms from our Midtown Manhattan Hotel is Central Park but other Manhattan spots include Madison Square Park, Roosevelt Island, Riverside Park, and Little Island.  Make it a day-trip and explore spots in the outer boroughs like the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, Prospect Park in Brooklyn, or Hunter’s Point South in Queens.

Macy’s Flower Show

Immerse yourself in vibrant colors of spring with the arrival of Macy’s annual Flower Show. Debuting on April 27th, the show will transform the main flower, balcony and windows of Macy’s Hearld Square. Free and open to the public, the show will offer a whimsical oasis featuring plants, flowers and trees.
