Few things are more synonymous with spring than cherry blossoms in NYC. These beautiful pink and white flowers transform the city into an Instagram-worthy wonderland but only for a limited time. While the most common trees are Okame, Yoshino, and Kwanzan, certain spots have up to a few dozen varieties. Once the trees blossom by mid-April, they only hold their bloom for approximately 10 days so here’s your guide for some of the best spots in the city.  

Manhattan

  • Go early: Arrive early to avoid the crowds and for a more tranquil experience. 
  • Plan ahead: Make the most of the blossoms by going as early in the bloom process as possible.
